Fixed-price written quotes

Every project starts with a measure-up and an itemised, fixed-scope quote, so you know the cost before any work begins.

Inner west to growth corridor

We renovate kitchens from Footscray, Yarraville and Williamstown through Sunshine, St Albans, Point Cook, Werribee and Tarneit.

Contracted, compliant work

Projects run under a written contract with the right permits and registered plumbing and electrical trades, in line with Victorian building requirements.

Design before we build

We plan the layout, materials and lighting and show you drawings before any cabinetry is made, so changes happen on paper, not on site.

Kitchen renovation questions, answered

A few of the questions Melbourne West homeowners ask us most. See the full list on our FAQ page.

How much does a kitchen renovation cost in Melbourne West?
Cost depends on the scope, cabinetry detail, benchtop material and whether the layout changes. A makeover that keeps the existing footprint costs much less than a full rebuild with custom joinery and structural work. After the measure-up we prepare an itemised written quote so you can see where the budget goes before any work starts.
How long does a kitchen renovation take?
A standard full kitchen renovation usually runs around 6 to 12 weeks from contract to handover. Cabinetry and benchtop fabrication often takes 4 to 6 weeks, then the on-site stage usually takes 2 to 4 weeks for demolition, install, plumbing, electrical and finishing. A makeover is generally quicker.
Do I need a written contract for a kitchen renovation in Victoria?
For domestic building work over $10,000, a written major domestic building contract is required under the Domestic Building Contracts Act 1995. The contract sets out the scope, price, payment stages and variations process. You can confirm the current threshold with Consumer Affairs Victoria and the building regulator, and we put the scope and price in writing before a project starts.
Is the renovation work covered by domestic building insurance?
In Victoria, domestic building insurance applies where the contract value is above the current threshold. Public guidance in June 2026 commonly cites more than $16,000, with Home Warranty Insurance reforms due from 1 July 2026. We recommend checking the current Building and Plumbing Commission guidance before signing.
What benchtop materials can I use now that engineered stone is banned?
Engineered stone with 1% or more crystalline silica has been banned for manufacture, supply, processing and installation across Australia since 1 July 2024. We now guide homeowners toward porcelain and sintered stone, natural stone, laminate, stainless steel, solid timber and compliant low-silica alternatives.
